Miska is the founder and CEO of Annie Advisor. Annie is a Helsinki based team of humanists and techies on a mission to remove barriers to learning. Their hope is to make getting help as easy as possible and prevent school drop out.

Mika is the CEO and Co-founder of School Day, a tool for district leaders and teachers to proactively lead well-being in the classroom. Mika strongly believes well-being should be treated as the single most important mean to improve learning results – and that’s why his driving purpose is to build a better future for student welfare and social emotional learning (SEL). Since founding School Day in 2017, he has led the company in raising over $2M from leading Nordic VC’s Lifeline Ventures and Sparkmind.vc and grown School Day adoption to 100k users in over 20 countries - including in 25 states in the US.

OSA members and friends went to Cafe Board Game for fun games, good coffee, and even better company!
Networking event with various edtech startups. Our community has the chance to meet them, provide valuable feedback concerning their innovations, and might find opportunities for future collaboration and internships.
What is Coming Up:
Educathon, is a one-day event on May 3rd, 2022 (9am-6pm), dedicated to finding solutions to making the education system more equitable. There will be a focus on three aspects of equity and inclusion: race, gender and sexuality, and disability. This event will be formatted like a “Hackathon” where like minded individuals come together to come up with innovative solutions for an existing challenges within the educational domain.
This sitsit will be hosted by OSA and in collaboration with ESN.
